Authorities Uncover James O’Keefe’s Next Plot…
WASHINGTON, DC – Federal agents investigating James O’Keefe’s foray into Senator Mary Landrieu’s office are now reporting they have found evidence that indicates what O’Keefe was cooking up for his next stunt.
O’Keefe, the investigative journalist who took the news media by storm with his pimp-suited takedown of ACORN, is free on $10,000 unsecured bond, pending a preliminary hearing on Feb. 12. While executing a search of O’Keefe’s apartment, FBI agents say they found clues to his next venture.
“The agents found an old-timey reporter hat with a big index card stuck in the brim that says PRESS,” an FBI spokesperson told us, “along with a gray raincoat and several other items.”
The FBI went on to describe a notebook and pencil, which they say O’Keefe intended to use to write down things told to him by “sources.” They also found evidence that he intended to use a search engine called “Google” to “check facts.” According to investigators, it appears that O’Keefe intended to take those facts he could verify and “report them.”
