So let me get this straight. You don't like Ann Coulter? If she is bitter, shrill, sarcastic and ignorantly employs ad hominem tirades--well, you have learned something from her. I thought I might learn something here, but just got more of the ideologically blah blah blah, and blah. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Two contemporary queens of sarcasm that I would compare Ann to are Maureen Dowd and Gail Collins. But Gail is just too nice to be really really funny. She is more like your older sister smiling at you with amusement when you act like an idiot.

Maureen is less nice, but lacks Ann's verve.

October 9, 2009 • 1:27 PM .Ann Coulter needs to remember that if it wasn’t for liberals, she would have no career. Without progressives she ,and all women, would be barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen. Also no one would care about her opinions because she couldn’t vote anyway.
--------------------

Sure. Just like Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen and Queen Elizabeth I - none of whom ever became famous. :)

Coulter has a lot in common with Dorothy Parker who lived before (the modern version of) feminism. She is smart, she is funny, and she comes up with these wonderful one liners. Alhough I have to admit Parker was superior in her wit to Ann, who is good but not quite as good.

As far as I know, no woman has become famous by having an abortion, but feminists keep trying! Perhaps they could agitate for a Nobel prize for abortion? That would do the trick.

Maybe you - kennypo65 - have nominations?
