Report: Joe The Plumber Feels Dirty, Cites Problems With McCain’s Plumbing
Think Progress reported that Joe Wurzelbacher, AKA “Joe The Plumber”, isn’t a fan of the man who made him famous and that he “felt dirty” after stumping with the McCain campaign.
Though Think Progress initially reported that Wurzelbacher’s sentiments were a result of McCain’s uninspired responses to some direct questions on the bailout plan, Apoliticus has learned that Joe The Plumber was actually displeased with some of the other work that he had to do on the campaign, namely, plumbing.
“McCain would often spend an hour in the bathroom on the campaign bus, every so often yelling “welcome friend!” to no one in particular” explained Joe to sources at Apoliticus “At first I never understood why campaign staffers would move away from the bathroom…but then it became clear…McCain could not go without clogging…with me being the only plumber on board, the staffers felt it was natural for me to take care of the mess…so when I said I “felt dirty” I wasn’t kidding.”
McCain was unavailable for comment.
